My opinion,, it doesn't matter what kind of car or truck you drive, i've seen kids in for escorts rusted out doing the exact same things you see in the video, i'm sure it happens more frequently with faster cars and trucks, but if i recall right, most of the time whenever anyone on this board makes a post about streat racing, 75 % of the people are there to say hey watch out you might hurt someone. and thats a lot of people considering there are not so many L's out there.

I guess I didn't realize it when I made the comments, but I must have been speaking directly to you since you took everything to be so personal.

You've proven my point very well.

Houndog seems to understand I wasn't talking about him.

We have laws and enforcement because this is how these people would behave at each and every moment if there were no consequences.
I guess I may have over reacted a little.:o I've noticed, since I've been here on this board, the tendency of some of the members who drive vehicles other than Lightnings, to criticize Lightning owners as a whole whenever the opportunity arises. I've become a tad bit resentful of that behavior. I would hope there are no Lightning owners cruising the other boards looking for excuses to behave in the same manner. I'm sure it's possible that you meant no slight to Lightning owners in general. I'm also sure that I owe the board an apology for losing my composure and behaving like an a$$hole, thus misrepresenting them.

Sorry guys.

Roger

I don't the problem is specific to L's or Z28's.

Since the F&F there have been a huge flood of CIVIC claims.

In my area last year two Mustangs were racing & one lost control..
Car went hard right into the crowd killing a lady(specatator).
Last I heard the drivers + some Lincoln Park cops were being charged. The cops weren't in there jurisdiction but the prosecutor claims they could have notified the Detroit PD.

Yet the previous year no one wants a track in there neighborhood or community. Yet they scream when this stuff happens near there house till 5am.

I think some of the illegal stuff would stop if the locals had a legal track nearby. Hopefully a solution can be found before it's too late or all of our insurance rates will skyrocket..

Roger don't crawfish. If you mean what you say,you owe no apologies. You don't have to take responsiblity to represent Lightning owners just because you own one.I'm in your corner.
