Without a doubt the Hoosier 28x16 slicks are better than the MT 26" ET streets.

Mixed feelings...................

I run the same combination that JBL posted about but last Fri. night, I had my adze handed to me by Rusty and his new 28" Hoosiers--his 12.5xx to my 12.7xx bests that night. Of course, my M/Ts are DOT certified and his are not .......LOL

Funny, after my abysmal showing at the track yesterday I was about to post this question myself. Thanks for all you answer. Plus, how do the Nitto 555R's compare to the M/T & Hoosiers (if at all)?

Those are Ultra Type 51 wheels. I have 6 of them, 4 for the street and 2 for the track. I have had them for sale for awhile in the classifieds. Check there for info....

You didn't want to break up your "set", so I went shopping. I do like the wheels. Just got tires mounted Friday and have not had a chance to get to the track yet (holiday weekend guest). Maybe next Thurs. night if Kinston has t&t.
