need help

Unhappy need help

Went to install my jdm 4lb lower today.The belt would not fit
they said it would use the same one.Does anyone have advice for me please??

you need to knock off the little nub on the belt tensioner so you can move it far enough to install belt.. Look at the tensioner, there is a little aluminum stop that prevents it from rotating far enough. All you need to do is knock the little b@stard off there and you're good to go.......JR

Yep neeed to knock the stop off. It will still be very tight. 1" longer than stock belt P/N # NAPA/GATES 080670. I like the longer myself. Less taxing on the tensioner.

Do you honestly want to break the stop off the tensioner. Just get a 68" belt from a parts store and put it on. The one I put on was very tight (i.e....no slippage) but it fit without breaking off the stop
