holy crap, i thought insurance on these things or sky high? is the insurance under your name or under your parents name? Sounds like a good price to pay, not too expensive, what insurance company do you have?

Thanks Jimmy, like kid2001 said, it all depends on your state, and your agent.

All I can say is DO NOT move to Miami!!!

Dude, I'm 33, No TIX and still pay over $1200/6months with Geico!

Of course Miami-Dade County is a Hot bed for Insurance ripoffs.

A simple move North, 30 miles, into Broward would save me 50%!

35 years old. 1995 corvette, 2001 mitsubishi daimante, 2001 lightning. i pay 68.00 a month for the lightning. they classify it as a f-150 xl because the vin is same as a regular cab f-150. I've also been with state farm for 15 years. Hawaii also has some of the highest insurance rates anywhere in the country. so I'm happy with the rate I get. good luck..

blowntruck????

hmmmmmmm I know a man that is 66 and NEVER had a ticket or been in a wreck and he still is paying 430 every 6 months on a 2001 with State farm.... how in the hell blowntruck got it so cheap i have no clue!

As for me I have a 2002 im 30, married, no tickets, multi car discount, home owner discount (forgot to mention that in the past threads) have the L listed as a pleasure vehical and i STILL pay 510 every 6 months (which i think is cheap)

I live in middle GA btw.

as for you blowntruck either the insurance company has a missing number in your vin (they think its a f150) OR your in a very important "family" hehehehe

Well, my grandma is 73(married, we have had like 5 different cars with state farm, would that be a multi-car discount, we currently have 3)) and never has any tickets or been in any accidents, shes been with state farm for a VERY long time, so does anybody think it would be less than $100 a month, i live in north florida if it helps. im going tomorrow or sometime to ask the agent how much it would cost, just wondering what kind of prices i could expect. Thanks for all the help so far, a bunch of 'helpy' type of people and very knowledgable

Mine is something like 800 a year. I'm 20 and have the GPA discount, parent record discount and all that fun stuff. It also shows up as a regular f-150 here as well. State Farm.
