Thumbs up

They look like serious traction

A couple of questions: What is the advantage of radial slicks and are you running 4:10's since they are almost 30" tall?

Thanks!!

JDM says they are worth a tenth per gear change. I bought the Goodyears myself but haven't had a chance to see how they work.

I have been running Goodyear 28x11X15 since July 00. These are 29.5" tall and I do have 4.10s.

I lost time on the Goodyears even though they really Hooked I felt there was too much Rolling Resistance with the Bias Ply. I don't think the Hoosier will be as good as the Goodyears with a Stick but but just right for a Lightning. I think with this Compound they will work Good with a 2000 rpm Launch.

They just require a light hazing to hook and that is what I like in trying to preserve my Tranny and I'm looking for a Trap RPM of about 53/5400

I ran the Goodyears with 13 LBS and Hoosier said to start with 18 LBS on These

Plus, Those A/Hs at Goodyear don't even answer their e mail

Jim

Has anyone actually ran with these tires yet? I tried mine out for the first time yesterday and was not too impressed with my 60's (1.80, 1.83) and did not notice any MPH improvement. I think the track prep was the problem with my 60's suffering, I guess i'll know for sure with more track time on them.
