oops...I can't remember the exact cost, but 01s are like $28,005 and the 02s are like $27,995...something like that. Sorry, not much help, huh?

FWIW, if you can find an 01, they are still offering 3.9% APR.

My friend also tried to get the low APR on the Lightning, dealer looked and tried to get it for him, but said it is NOT available on SVT's. His price on x-plan was going to be in the $28,500 range he said. Almost $4,000 off sticker...not too bad!!! $$ for future mods, and killer gas prices.

the exact price on my 02 was $28.830.88

then you have to add tax tags and all that good stuff which varries from place to place.

you can always just go to http://www3.forddirect.fordvehicles....RL=FordPartner and find a dealer that as what you want then look at what YOUR price will be.

edit: i cant type tonight

They offer it every once in awhile, you just have to watch...I got 3.9% on mine but it was only for 01s.

Up until last summer the FordPartner site used to have a disclaimer which read something like "Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ford Escape, and SVT vehicles are exempt from this program." Then last fall I noticed it had changed to not exclude SVT vehicles. It didn't list them, but it didn't exclude them either. Since I saw people talking about the X plan on this site, I started calling around the area to see who would bite. I got three dealers who would (mid Feb 02). I bought one on Valentines day.

$28,400 + 4% = $29,536 + $740 shipping = $30,276 + t&l for your state = your cost. Still a pretty good deal if you can get it.

I paid 28,831.41 for my 02 L without a tonneau cover with X-Plan. That included shipping. The only thing added was sales tax and tag.
