Beware with Lightning Performance??
Are you sure you have the right company? There is LightningForceProducts(LFP) and LightningPerformanceProducts(LPP) where is this company located? Just make sure you have the right person before posting about your problem you had with them.I have ordered from both and had good quick service both times, sorry about your misfortune!Good luck!

I ordered my things over the phone using my credit card and I received the parts in 5 business days. By the way, those things were sent from Texas to Buffalo, NY! I also talked with Mark on the phone for about 15 minutes and he answered every question I could throw his way. No problems here!
careful
Just remember, they have a life too. I'm not defending him but I know that there are times where they for one reason or another, family, trips, jobs,-they may vanish for a while. Take Factory tech. I don't know why but for a while he didn't answer emails or posts as far as I could tell. But just recently I see him posting a multitude of responses and he emailed a response to me personally. So even tho it sux, there may be something going on that affects his ability to respond. I think these guys are legit and I want to keep thinking that. So, I don't know what to say except keep trying and give him plenty of time. One thing I don't care for is the fact that most of these guys charge before they produce. The one I'm dealing with, I'm very happy to say, (Performance Products) charges when they ship.
If it is Mark from Mont Belvieu I had asked for him to order sway bars for my truck months and months ago, but never heard back from him. I eventually just decided I didn't need it. So no big deal for me!
Oh Man! I never thought I would see a post like this about Mark. I've dealt with him on several occasions and have had the BEST service I could ask for each time. I'm sure there is a misunderstanding or an extenuating circumstance that could not be helped here. Patience is a virtue. I'm really sorry that things aren't going well, as I'm pretty sure that you made this decision based, in part, on my recommendation. As I understand, it usually takes between 6 and 8 weeks to ship to Europe. I don't know why it would take that long though. It must travel by boat in bulk containers..... or something. This is what it will look like when you get it. You'll love it! I promise.

Re: Beware with Lightning Performance??
First clue, was that I had to pay thru pay pal (no way to get your money back if they don't deliver
You are mistaken on that buddy. That is one of the reasons people pay with paypal. If you are so concerned about it call paypal and discuss it with them. I KNOW that they will retract funds and investigate. I have gone through that when using them for an Ebay auction.
I think you got something messed up here pal. I talk to Mark daily and he has never not helped me on even the smallest of things. Everything that I have ordered from Mark has come promptly and as ordered.
If you have AIM he is on there rather frequently, just drop him a line on there and he will repond.

Mark is a great guy, with whom I have had the plessure dealing with. (And if I had more money, I would deal with him more frequently.) I know how it is to wait for parts, it really sucks, and feels like you're getting screwed. But I don't think it's fair to post "Beware with Lightning(Force) Performance" You act like Mark isn't allowed to have his own life, or unexpected things aren't allowed to come up. He will come through. Every vendor on this board has had atleast 1 slow period, where they were so busy that people got pissed. Just sit back and relax. Be adult about things. I don't know the whole story, but as a character reference, Mark is very nice, and is a good business man, HE WILL COME THROUGH!
I work with Mark..as his install shop here in Houston. Have never had an issue with parts procurement and he ALWAYS takes care of the customer first.
I think that many times, the consumer doesn't realize the sheer volume of business we see in relation to these trucks and the associated parts and tuning questions. It is hard for me to make all of the contacts that I must during a day of work...phone is ringing non-stop and there are only 3 of us here. Mark is a one-man show along with running another business...so he definitely has a full plate.
I will get in touch with Mark and find out what has happened with your order....have no fear, he will make it right.

Mark?
I have talked to LFP a number of times and always seems like a good guy to do business with. I live not but 20minutes away from him, and if you have any more problems I can always run over there and pick up the product for you. If you want me to email me at Jhn572@aol.com

My first attempt to ship your product was by UPS. Never having shipped to an overseas military base before I was told by UPS that it was not a good ship to address.
I explained that and you (over the phone)and we discussed, if the problem persisted to go to the post office.
After going to the post office and having the packaged received I thought I was finished. You called several weeks later and we spoke again. During this 2nd conversation I was informed that you hadn't received your parts( to my surprise ). Without looking/tracing for it through the use of my trk. # I proceeded to ship another of the same part. Which brought us to our last phone conversation (3rd) on my cell phone ( that I give out freely). I was traveling back from west TX. and we were cut off which happens with cell phones. Your parts were shipped via the postal service by insured mail. For those of you who would like to trace the package the # is V V- 414-970-156-US.
If a customer doesn't see a phone # to reach me they email and ask. As I did for you, I give all my #'s including my office, home and cell. Thank you all for your continued support.

I have dealt with Mark several times and he has gone out of his way to get me my parts... I think maybe that the overseas address may have something to do with it.. I would not hesitate to buy from Mark, in fact I am looking to buy some springs in the near future.....Don't let this be a reflection on his business, I won't.....................this really shouldn't have been dealt with here anyways....just my .02..................JR

Yes, I am talking about Mark from Lightning Force Performance in Texas.
To all of you that are standing up for Mark, I appreciate your comments and loyalty. I truely hope he is a stand up guy and is doing everything he can to straighten this out. As I stated in earlier posts, when I talked to him over the phone, he seemed very nice and offered to clear up the problem by going to the post office and trying to track the package. Each time however, I asked him to e-mail me the results. He never has. I guess he was just too busy to do that (I understand businesses can be that way). And unfortunately, since I am in Germany, I have never given him my phone number. But when a company doesnt reply to you as requestd, then doesnt answer the phone the following week for 3 straight days, doesnt answer e-mails, it causes customers to become concerned. I just want to get in touch with him again. All I know is that the bottom line is that I paid him money, I don't have a product, he claims to be fixing the problem but never replies by email as requested, and now I cannot even get in touch with him.
After all these posts, I am sure that I will be able to get in touch with him and straighten this problem out. The numbers that were given to me (and that I contacted him at before) are (281) 385-5339 (wrk) and (281) 610-6265. Is the work number correct? Maybe I copied it down wrong or something. Thanks for all the help. Jeff
