Unhappy Help getting hangers off

Man these are a pain. I have a grinder/cutter and got the heads off the rivets. I tried to use a punch and hammer to knock it through with no luck. I have only done two of them. Ran out of grinding discs and have now way to get to the store. So I tried to punch them out.

Should I get the other two off and then pull the hanger off. Then hit the rivets since they are sticking out? I would think this would be easier.

I am taking wife to work tomorrow, so should I buy a impact hammer??

Drill a hole through them and they will come out easier. Watch out for the gas lines and tank.

If you do that, they will tend to flatten out and be even harder to get off.

Cut all the heads off, Pull the hanger off, Cut them flush with the frame, then use a air hammer with a punch insert to knock them through the frame. Its a pain in the butt but it can be done. Dont worry if you grind your frame cutting them flush, it wont hurt anything....
