Has anyone tried a Borla exhaust system on their Lighting? If so, how do you like it? How was installation?

 

Ive had the Borla exaust on my truck since late 99', i had a local muffler shop install it, only took them 10 minuits. Yes, this is much quieter than the other exausts, but its loud enough for me not to change it, especially at WOT.

 

Sounded a little better than stock. Probably about $400-$500. A better deal for sound is the Bassanni (sp??). No gains or loss than I could determine.

 

I didn't dyno just the exhaust change; but, I gained 1.5 mpg in town without changing the way I drive. I would say there's a performance increase to go along with the better fuel economy. I like the sound, also. People don't pay you much attention from across the parking lot; but, it sounds like you've got something going on when they pull up next to you at a light. If you want LOUD, it's not for you.
