I'm glad your sick of hearing about it!
Yea man
Bring 'em all to MIR. if he runs 12.2 and you guys say it's b/s, then some of you fast guys just may hit 11s. BTW Tommy, I've seen you do 12.3s last year with the 4#. 12.2 is awesome. Using any traction bars? You're geting close to 11 sec territory. Go for it.
It's just amazing how hard headed some people are pappy. If you need any driving lessons which I'm sure you do, I do teach on the side for a small fee of course. So why don't you drop it, I made a post to see what everyone else was doing and you get mad because their are a lot of people faster than you. Dude as I said before there is always someone faster. So lower your probably already high blood pressure and get some skills or slicks or something and you can be fast to.:o

As for running differenet ETs at different tracks, anyone who thinks they can turn the same ET at any track, obviously hasn't tried to do it. Go run at a track halfway across the country, and you'll be surprised
. Perfect example has been the WFC the past two years. Everyone showed up from all over the country and ran about .5 slower than their previous bests at their "home tracks". SAL
This is to clear up what I have said from the beginning going back to the first thread that started this.
1. I never said my truck was quicker and never questioned his times.
2. I asked about the front swaybar being connected. To which he replied "No but what difference does that make". Duh, I guess those 60' times only belong to his magic right foot.
3. I stated that he would run slower down here because of elevation, climate and track conditions. (He found this inconceivable probably because of his magic right foot).
4. He proceded to call me and others crybabies because we were stating the obvious.
5. I replied by betting him $2000 that with the mods in his sig he could not come to Memphis and run those times.
6. This has nothing to do with what I'm running and everything to do with what he would run here with those same mods.
DB, I believe you. I've heard of a few tracks in cali that will kill your times because of elevations and other conditions. That is my point exactly. If he shows up at WFC in May the best he could hope for would be mid 12's with his present mods and F1's (that will probably be a stretch because of the warmer weather).
I did not mean to turn this into a pissing contest. I simply stated something everybody that drag races should know about different tracks across the country and was called a crybaby. The money came out after that because it's a sure bet and he needs a hard lesson about the real world not just his little corner of it.

Sal,
Well said i feel the same way, they obviously have no track experience in different altitudes
because there is a big difference between tracks at higher altitude as much as .5 slower and Chuck would win this bet hands down!

Sal,
That was the point I was making about the different tracks. He turned some great times on F1's but that won't happen at a lot of tracks across the country. I can't wait to see what you big boys are going to run this year. I bet there will be a lot of 10's even with less than favorable conditions once you get them dailed in. I chose St. Louis as an example because I'm 5 hours south of this track with similar conditions. I remember the groaning that went on last year about the ET's that were ran.

Well, just as a person who reads these boards, I'm "getting sick" of this subject. This is now the 4th or so thread about this topic. You've asked the question over and over, so this is getting beat to death. You say you just want to see what everyone else is doing, yet THIS thread wasn't started to ask that question, it was started to retaliate against the people who are sick of hearing it. There's no doubt your truck is fast, and that you can drive, as you've stated MANY times already. Now it just seems that you keep posting this to pat yourself on the back.

That was exactly the point I was trying to make in my reply to last (and hopefully the very last) thread on this subject.
I like trying new tracks, thats why I got into this...
I have ran at a few tracks at different times and with different mods... Here are some of my thoughts...
When I had my 3lb lower I ran these tracks & numbers...
On ET street's
Richmond 12.50 @ 109 in 60Deg weather
VMP 12.54 @ 108 in 60deg weather
Cecil 12.62 @ 107 in 70deg weather
On 20's I ran:
Richmond 12.70@106 in 80Deg Weather
Cecil 12.75@106 in 80 Deg Weather
Now with the 6lber I have went to a few other tracks and ran a few different ways:
Hoosiers
Richmond - 12.21 @ 110 in 60deg weather
VMP- 12.35 @ 109 in 70 Deg weather
Kinston, NC- 12.41 @108 in 70deg weather
On 22's I have only went to one track and ran...
Richmond 12.45 @ 109 in 60 deg weather
I know the track and weather changes your times, But I do feel I can be within reason at most any track, I have run my best numbers at some of the crapyest tracks....

Here we go again
Ok guys, (LTNBOLT) the pissing contest was started by you. You expect someone to drive a very long way to make a pass to prove you wrong. That is just a way to hide. And to Sal just about every post is beat to death on this forum, I'm not stupid I know that if I go to Denver or any real high elevation track I will slow down, and I know heat is a factor, its just amazing that if I go where LTNBOLT wants me to and ICULOKN comes with me we will be slower for sure. Not likely. I know your a tuner of these trucks and I don't own my own Lightning business but I do work at Very large Speed shop in Maryland and I do tune Mustangs and have been doing that and racing for years. So I'm not some idiot that doesn't have a clue and has only been to the track a couple of times. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back, I believe you post on my thread before as the fastest time so chill. I don't care if I'm the fastest, its just interesting. Just like a lot of other posts on this board.
