Aslo what are the part numbers for these shocks. thanks

hopefully I can get a quick answer as I want to put them on this week.

thanks

I was told that you could use the original shocks but might want to replace them soon.

I ordered a set of Doetshc Tech Nitro Active shocks. I have them on the front of mine with the Bell Tech springs, like yours, and they ride really good. Better than before, a smoother ride. I'm still waiting on the rear hanger so I can lower the rear.

I got them from Sprort Truck Direct. They shipped quick.

SVTRobG recommended them to me and I thank him for it.

thanks Chicken. I originally ordered from Summit, and the kit included the shcoks for 399. But canceled since they were backordered and bought off the online store, not knowing it didn't come with shcks. I am kicking myself in the butt now. Oh well.

I can't beleive you haven't got your hangers yet. I just got all my stuff at once and I believe I ordered mine after you.

thanks again

Yep, well I'm still waiting! The reciept that came with the springs had a notation stating: "Special ordering BLT .6418 Hanger Kit".

It'll probably show up soon.

You're welcome

I just called and ordered the shocks and they gave me a different part number for the front. I told them the kit I had was lower front by two more inches. He said the other was for a 1 inch drop. I guess they know what they are doing.

what i did

I baught the 2/4 belltech kit from the online store here. It was everything but the shocks and it came all at once. (and fast too)
I orderd the nitro drop shocks from www.tognottisautoworld.com
you save a few bux ordering it online but they screwed up my rear shock part number. ( the web site was wrong..its fixed now i beleive ) Unfortunatly my truck was on a lift with every other component installed before the mechanic gave me the news thats the rear shocks are for a ram. Tognottis traded me shocks and paid for the shipping. Fortunatly the mechanic put my stock shocks back on in the back. It rode real stiff in the back and made a bad sound when the rear shocks were compressed. The new shocks came and he switched them for me for free when i had him install some traction bars later that week. oh bye the way, all drop shocks have a range of drop: 1" - 2" , 1"-3", 2" -4" , 4" - 6"
anyhow the belltech kit is realy nice and rides perfect for me.
