Refinancing with People First
Refinancing with People First
When you refinance with People First, do they still give you a the blank check, or is it done differently. Can I still consider that a "new auto loan" if it's a refinance, or is it now a "used auto loan"... or is it a "personal loan"?
I'd appreciate the info of anyone who's done this... Thanks.

Guapo,
mine was a used vehicle to begin with, so I just refinanced a used vehicle. They sent me a check that I made out to the existing bank and that was it. I had to send them a check for $5.25 for a filing fee to have their name transferred to the title. Easiest and best interest I have ever seen.....No hassle they take the money out of my account each month.......go for it..JR

I bought mine new... so when I refinance, is it considered a new car loan, or a used car loan?
This sounds like a good deal. In a couple months, my Camaro will show up as a "paid loan" of about $20,000... that will look really good on a credit report, right?
I don't have alot of credit... so I don't think I will qualify for that really good rate...
I'd like to know how much credit, or how good of credit, people here have who finance through them. Is that low rate hard to get?

I think I would apply for a used car since you already bought it once and registered it, it becomes a used car.. I have good credit and got the 6.75% rate.. try it, the worst that can happen is they turn you down...JR
