Chalk up a night for us domestics! rice burners go down!!

hey guys, i went up to my closest track in hinesville last night for some 1/8th mile action domestic vs. imports night. i went originally b/c i heard they may be paying 50 bucks to the fastest vehicle there that drove thru the gate. but come to find out they werent doing that they were paying 200 bucks to the winner of the bracket racing. so i commense to bolting the hoosiers on. by the way temp was cold, dew fell at 930 and we didnt ever get a car on the track til 1035pm (they race til 3am). but anyway track conditions were horrible even 11 second ricers were spinning. i ran my first pass fresh on vht and still spun thru 1st gear and still ran a 8.13 @ 86.6mph.(best pass of the night). i ran 2 more times after that and ran 8.41and 8.3x then it was time for bracket and heads up racing. of course i was top dawg in heads up class this was the slowest cars i ever seen. closest one was 1.5 seconds behind with a 9.6x or so. i was the only thing there with slicks. so i won the heads up trophy bout knee high. now on to bracket racing bout twenty something entered mostly all ricers (slow as sh$^). but in bracket racing u know we are all even. so i made it all the way to the semi finals and i was against a guy with an 11.7x dial in on a honda civic i dialed in a 8.68 by this time track was horrible it was 100 am but i was capable of going 8.4x or 8.53 or so. so we staged the first light and he stages the 2nd one(by the way this guy had been running within a tenth on dial in and cutting mostly .5xx lights. so i was focused and took him very seriously with 200 bucks on the line) and i bump mine in neutral and played the waiting game he was already reving his pisser up over there and i was reving mine to bout 4k rpms trying to rattle him. well it worked after bout a 6 or 7 second delay his rpms began to fall so i knew he was unnerved. he cut a .8xx light on my .599 and i was on the brakes long before the finish line. so there were 3 cars left to go and i got the bi run b/c i had the best r/t. so in the finals i was running some p.o.s car with one of them loud azz rotary motors in em. so i did the same thing to him as the other guy this guy dials in a 9.60. well he cut a .622 light and i cut a .527 so i passed him just before the line and hit the brakes on him real hard as well but almost too hard i had to hit the gas again and i beat him by bout a fender i ran a 8.88 on a 8.68 dial in. so now i have 1 trophy knee high 1 trophy waste high, and i am 200 dollars richer along with 2 winner stcikers from hinesville raceway park. sorry for the long post but im excited.

DAN, How many trophies have you won?????????????????????????????????????

You ever wonder why rice rockets spin their tires so much at the track? I mean they have no down low power, so by spinning the tires it makes them look like they have tons of power that they can't get traction.

haha thats pretty good. thank sit was alot of fun whipping up on them. there was no one even close to me and everyone was in total awe.

on a side note i had the pleasure of playing with a z28 camaro on the way down weighing in at bout 5100 lbs with tires and jack and everything. at 50 mph we hit it and it was side by side and in the upper end of 2nd i started pulling just a hair then it i shifted to 3rd and i jumped up a fender on him and we shut it down. we pulled over and i said he had the strongest z28 i ever seen. and he asked if i was going to the track and he came too but he didnt run he just wanted to see me run i think. but come to find out when we got to the track he popped his hood and he had a 98 model corvette engine in it. i was like so thats why i knew i could kill a z28 otherwise. he said it had 385 hp but i believe in 98 the vetter had 345 hp, so who knows. i dont think was 385. he was shocked to say the least with my truck.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Rusty...........

Trophies! I got trophies--wait they're 'dog showin' trophies--dagnabbit! My wife thru them out so I am trophyless .

I guess you and your L will be in a magazine article soon---maybe, "Rice, and How To Cook Them" . Oh, I placed an order for a size 10XXX Ford hat for you. I know your old one ain't gonna fit no mo! You'll look like that big dude ridin' the Bhrama bull in "Blazing Saddles"............

We will stand in awe when you return to SDR and cries of "We are not worthy " will be heard across the pits and stagin' lanes. Ladies will throw their bras at you and kids will beg for your autograph. Grown men will rub your Hoosiers, and smile.

Seriously, you are one 'hard-core' young, racin' man. You have had a spectacular weekend and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Stay safe on the highways.............

Dan
