LightningTuner/Chip Timing

Hey Big Dog,

I tested my truck again today ( 55 degrees outside ), no ping at tip-in , but a little at WOT...I figure less 2-3 degrees of timing will do the trick...
Here's the real question ( and if you don't want this guy seeing anything about your programming just tell me and I'll wait and let you do it )...I going to Florida to have my Mustang tuned and as you know this guy uses Autologic too...Do you mind if Ihave him pull a couple degrees out since we're gonna dyno it anyway??? If you don't want me to let him mess with it, I respect that and will just through some unleaded 102octane in and Dyno it on the street program and track program that way...So let me know

Thanks,
James

This would be MUCH better done in email. There is no value to the rest of the membership in this post. We are trying to encourage folks to use email and phone calls for one on one communication. Order status, tracking numbers, burn details etc should all be done in email

Thanks
Doug

Well yes there are compliants about just about everything but the reason I asked is because as been covered here in depth Steve is trying to solve some issues with the server load. Reducing off topic posts and posts that are one on one communication will help with that.

For reference copied from Vendor rules.
Conducting business activity may include posting order or product status updates or responding to inquiries about products that are not directly made to them. If you are vendor and someone asks about an order status, respond offline, not on the message boards.
Another quote from the TOP of the New post or Reply Form
Important: Please do not use the forums to post classifieds or personal messages for F150online's Supporting Vendors (i.e. placing orders, checking on order status). To find out the best way to contact our Supporting Vendors, please see the Supporting Vendors page. To post an item for sale or items wanted, please utilize the Classifieds. All threads in violation of this request will be removed without notice.
And since if Sal were to repsond it would violate the vendor rules I was trying to encourage you to communicate with him in a way that he could communicate back..

Doug not to be rude here, but i'd say if you took 99% of your posts to email (which would be jsut as effective) you too could help decrease server load. Between your posts and otehrs that repond to your off topic rants it has got to add up.

Thats just my 2 cents (thast all i can afford)

I am simply trying to help the members understand and comply with the rules. The point of most of my moderating posts is to BOTH correct a current problem and to educate the other members as to what the problem was so they can avoid it.

Hopefully that adds
value to the rest of the membership
I am continually amazed at how powerfully people recoil from being guided how to comply with the few relatively simple rules.

It is unfortunate that rather than percieved as helpful or necessary these posts are seen as
off topic rants

Doug,

I can definitly appreciate your posts to a certain extent, I was simply saying, you too should consider going to email just as we should be. This is not to say all of your posts should be taken to email, but a good majority of yours could be, as could a majority of ours =)

I am just an instagator, soo please look past me =)

Have a good day =)
