I had this customer a few months ago who ordered a cover for his new king ranch F150 flareside. He wrecked the truck and it took him a month to come and finally get his cover. I installed it and it looked great. The Ford dealer even did a good job repairing his truck I thought. Well, customer comes back a week later complaining about a paint defect in the cover. I couldn't see the defect, but he said it was there. I'm not out to rip anyone off so I sent the cover back to be checked out. The manufacturer couldn't find a defect. During this time the customer finds fault with the repair work of the Ford dealer. He finally complains so much they buy his truck back and sell him another one. I find out about this because I reinstall the cover on the dealers truck when it comes back to me. I find out that the customer orders a cover from the competition across town for his new truck. He has sent the cover back twice now because he was unsatisfied with the fit...they have also installed 3 sets of auto ventshade window visors on his truck only to remove all three sets because of minor scratches. I only know this because the customer shows up at my store complaining about the other guys work. So here is the score camper shell dealers 3 returned covers and window visors, Ford 1 returned truck. Unhappy, never will pleased customer speading the joy priceless.
BTW, he keeps saying he'll buy his next cover from me. No thanks. I don't need that aggrevation.
