speaker question in my L

installed all my new stereo system components and working great, only one problem though, it was easy to route the speaker wires through to the passenger side door, but when i try to do so on the driver side, it seems impossible withough removing the parking break in the way. Please help, i hate looking at my wires hanging there

although i dont have an L, im sure the wiring is the same. i went in from the door with a coat hanger. pull the rubber boot out a little so you can see the wire going in. i also used orange electrical tape to tape the wire to the hanger so it would be easy to see when it came through. it was a pain in the butt though.

I feel your pain...

I used a 24" tie wrap. Cut the lock end off and lay the wires several inches along the tie wrap. Tape on with electrical tape. Swedge it so it will not grab or hook on stuff..Believe me there is Stuff in the way. Once you get the tie wrap fed through the accordian boot , which you already realise a PITA....Some poking around will elicit the desired result. The tie wrap is stiff yet flexible and I had some on hand. Maybe you can find something similar or buy some. I believe you can see what I mean. I used this same method one My last two Lightnings. The drivers side is a bitch. But...gotta have them tunes....good luck.
