Between 3 and 4 gallons, because all are not the same. Thats how I know what to mix may gas by. When the light comes on I put in 4 gallons of 93 octane and 2 gallons of 130 octane AVgas and it makes 100.4 octane. I always run it low on race days so I can do just that.

I think all avgas has lead in it and will kill the o2 sensors and the cats

Thanks awhittle, yea thats what they say. I've been running it for 16 years now and have never lost a sensor or a cat. I mix it the day of the race and when I leave the track I fill up to help dilute what little lead there is in AVgas. No problems as of yet.

I'm a private pilot and if you get 100LL, LL meaning low lead, you'll get a very low lead content. But yes, avgas does have lead, 100LL is blue btw. I would just get racing gas, some Citco's around here have 114 octane at a pump!

Thanks Whiplash, yea your right it is very lo lead content. I make the stuff at a refinery. Unleaded gas even has lead in it just not as much. Lead is a top notch octane booster.
