how much dynamat

for those who have soundproofed
about how many sq ft of dynamat was needed, for the entire cab.
Also which dynamat? there are several products. And finally has anyone used or heard of a similar product called cascade. One of the venders sell both but they claim the cascade is better and cheaper. THANKS in advance.

I bought a roll from a guy on ebay , Name was RAAM , it was called RAAMat. I got 50 sq and cover everything , but the top and had enough spare to do it . I think I got it for 69.00 a fraction of the Dynomat cost. Do a search on Ebay for RAAM. good luck

You might want to email CornerCarver(if he doesn't see this thread) and ask him. He used a 'like' product he got from McMaster-Carr(you won't believe how fast your order will get to you ) recently. he was very satisfied as I remember.

I put down two layers on both doors, the floor, and the back panel. I believe it came out to about 145-150 sq.ft.

I used Dynamat throughout but would never pay those prices again. Here's a link to another product but I can't vouch for it.http://www.b-quiet.com/

I laid down 70sq ft of B-quiet original in my L and we just put down a 100sq ft of B-quiet extreme in my friends 4runner. I would reccomend it over Dynamat anyday of the week.

Is there a reason that a lot of F-150/Lightning owners use Dynamat (or similar products)? I don't see as many car people using it, but your posts suggest the F-150 cabin acoustics really need some additional help.
