Fuel pumps

I'm going to install new fuel pumps this week. Which ones am I able to use? I'll probably be running a big shot of nitrous and some pullies.
Holley makes a couple of direct replacements for the mustang. Are they interchangeable?

These are the part #'s
190 lph #12901
255 lph #12902
255 lph (forced induction) #12915

click here for holley web site about fuel pumps

The part # from the original Bosch fuel pump is 80708818 and it is Ford part XL3V-9350-BA.

Easter, we sell a kit just for the Lightning. Two 255lph pumps and installation kit (socks, clamps, hoses, retainer clips, new tank seal, etc.). It's on our site if you wanna check it out.

Sal, you have the cheapest price going from what it seems. I was trying to find out what fits, just in case I can get it cheaper.

If I were you I would call Sal right now, even if you can find it a little cheeper, you will never be sure you have all the right connectors, or pumps. By going with Sals kit you know they are tried and true parts that will work.

Got to agree with that one. I got one of the first versions that was made for spiro along time ago and I would hate to have to fab somehting up with other pumps. This was so easy with the PSP kit, just pull the old unit out and put the new one in! took me about 1 hour cause I didn't even remove the gas tank from the truck compltely, just lowered it on one side.

The new pumps sure do there job and they sound cooler on start up too!

It isn't something that I need right now. My gas tank is on the floor of the shop right now and has been for a couple of months. I was debating a fuel cell. I figured I didn't want the gas smell inside the bed of the truck and decided against that. It is going to be at least another month before the beast is put all back together again. Too many parts, not much time.

What would constitute the need for higher output pumps?

I guess higher boost and a wet nitrous kit. Here is a a chart from holley where it shows the fuel pump needed for higher hp. I'm just guessing that I'm going to need these. It won't hurt to have them if I don't need them does it?
