3/4 drop kit only gives you 2/4 drop....

At that height, speed bumps really aren't an issue. The back may bottom out on the hard ones.

Go 2/3 with a 3/4 kit and you will be giggling all day long.

Rich,

You have said that if I lower mine with a 3/4 Bell Tech kit I will want to change to another shock, if I'm not mistaken. Is it required that I change shocks when I install the kit or can it be done later?

Also, is there any other modifications that need to be done like changing the sway-bar ends or anything? I seem to remember somebody doing this.

Tim

Mine has a 2/3 drop on it now, but I'm working on making it a tad lower! about a 1/2 an inch should be perfect for my area.

Chickenears:

You are correct. At some point you will want to change the shocks, but you can do it at a later date.

I'm still running stock shocks on the back.

Other than needing cam adjusters, there isn't anything else needed.

Only if you decide to do a lower control arms, you will have to do the links.

If you go lower than 2" you will have to either trim the factory bump stops or get an aftermarket set.

I just did a 2/3 on my 2001 and I love it. I was looking for a handling improvement instead of just looks. Two +'s I got were,I was able to retain the factory Billstein shocks and it looks mean and low,but it doesn't give the impression of a low rider at all. All it cost me was $20 dollars plus alignment. Look at Wrongday's truck,he gave me the ideas !!
