Doug just wanted to reach the knowledgeable people here who don't read the other areas of F150online...

Oh, wait, that's why most "off topic" threads end up here!

The rules shall apply to all, except those who make the rules...

OK Doug,
I used my own personal search button and came up with a thread from here:
http://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/97up/725.html

from one of the posts:
I've got the leak now on my '99 but it's out of warrenty. Anyone know if Ford will cover this or not? I noticed that on the NHSTA website that this is a know issue for 5.4s built with in a given timeframe which leads me to believe it's a defect during manufacturing. Can anyone help with me trying to get this issue covered by Ford? My 5.4 falls within the time period for the TSB 8093 and TSB 13846 by Ford.

hope this helps.........JR

You the man
Printing now

lurker -
I know the issue had been covered here before and I had hoped that a member or 2 might be willing to help the over worked and underpaid moderator.

If I really wanted to abuse my power I could have made it sticky, too bad Im not a moderator in the engine forum Icould have made it sticky there too.

Doug
