Angry Fast and the Furious

OK, I finally broke down and watched the movie even though I knew it would be all rice. What I didn't expect was to see an L in the background of every shot! Who else got steamed that all these little ricers are "10 second rides" What would the L do with that amount of money? Now I don't know much about roundy bout racing, but Dom talked about his father racing pro stock. Is there a "pro stock" in circle racing? Cause I hope he wasn't talkin' about that crash in the last turn of the dragstrip!! My dragway doesn't have any turns!!! They all could spout off 1/4 miles times, but they never showed them on a real track! Ohhhh it made me mad! How bout some respect for the L in the background!!!

Don't worry Whip, your L will still whup 99.99% of Jap crap on the road. And for that kid with 30K in a Civic that runs "10's", it will break lots of parts on a regular basis. Let them think they are fast, it just makes it that much more fun to destroy them...

yeah i saw that. also notice that they shift like 7 times in a couple of scenes and a 10 sec eclipse with only a turbo, 100 shot of Nitrous, cold air, and a couple of other little things. did you also notice the hose dragging under the eclipse, when they first pull into the street races. plenty of mistakes.

That Chevelle is actually a 70 454 LS6. My favorite muscle car of all time.

Did yall notice the part when the kid picks up Don, there isn't a hole in the passenger side all of a sudden, when in the previous scene it had fallen off?

You know something funny? The guys that actually race imports make fun of that movie too (with good reason).

Apparently, nobody likes it, but it had 150 MILLION in domestic grosses, (and it seems like everyone here has seen it too).

Interesting.

I missed that bit at the end of the credits. I'll have to pop my DVD in tonight and check that out..Er, I mean, I'll go over to my slackass ricer friend's house, and check it out on his DVD player. Yeah, that's what I mean...

The stranges thing about the import racers I know is, the only American vehicles they seem to have any respect for are the Viper and the Lightning.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't think it was a horrible movie. Hey, at least these kids are still racing, not playing video games, it just got my goat that they made it out like a 10 second ride is the norm. my 13 second ride has only had a a$$ whopping once or twice on the street. I also noticed several mistakes, but missed the chevelle in the end. I can't wait to I get home and visit some rice hangouts to see just how fast and furious they really are Haaa Haaa Haaaaaaaaa!

And I normally carry around a fat bankroll in my top pocket too! How bout you guys???

How bout some ZZTop about now "Cruisin' down the road in my V-8 Ford, got a shine on my boots, got my side burns low..."

I thought that the way those guys highjacked the trucks was in a word, idiotic! What truck driver ISN'T armed? By the time that silly grappling hook hits the seat, either the driver'd hit the brakes, the gun's comin' out or both!

cool old cars though

Besides the Lightning, which he smashed on the curb and fought up against, that charger was the best thing about that movie. And Guess what there is a Fast and the Furious 2 in the works but im not sure if this is gonna be a straight to video deal.
