i ain't gonna lie, i liked the movie. but yall are right about the mistakes. there are a whole bunch. the part that i didn't like was how they talked about 10 second cars like it was nothing. but if an import can run anything like that, then i got mad respect for it. also there were actually 3 trucks in there. the L, the RT, and an s-10. they showed it at race wars real quick.

I'm with Hotshot on this one, I thought the movie was pretty cool. I could probably count off all of the cars in the movie I'd actually like to own at some point on both hands (LIGHTNING (check!), Charger R/T, RX-7, Supra, (was that a Skyline in there?), and that Chevelle at the end that no one (including myself) noticed the first time around. The S2000 didn't do much for me, and I'm pretty much all set with the lime green eclipse too.

And about 10-second rides, I think Streetking from Texas on svtperformace or nloc (I forget which) has a high 9-second Supra, among a bevy of other super cool cars. like a Viper, new Vette, X5, and the hits just keep on coming...

Jealous much? I know I am.

Later...

I was at the LA Car show and they had that Charger there from the movie. What a piece of .... It had an one of those $100 paint jobs, the interior was gutted, not even a seat. The only thing that looked good was the blower sticking out of the hood. I went home and watched the movie again and noticed that they really never give you a good look at the car, its always stand off shots or real brief. I was bummed, Ive seen some nice Chargers but this was not one of them. Oh well.

They should make a movie like that but with American muscle instead of rice, and have a T100 as the "gofer "truck. Now THAT would be a movie !
