I know we share cams w/all 5.4's, but the question is "what ALL do we share...block,crank, rods etc...???

Block, Heads, Cams, Crank, and Rods.

 

we rebuilt one at work and from what i remember, the only thing different is the pistons.

 

The pistons are unique (forged), the piston pins are stronger (thicker wall dia.), all Lightning engines use a forged crank (some regular F series engines use cast, some use forged cranks).

Everything else is shared with the rest of the 5.4L engines...
