I am in total agreement with chikenears!! Drive it Like You Stole It I lasted about 1 week and up to 550 miles before I started getting in it. The past 2 days with 850-950 miles on the odometer I have made 3 or 4 110+mph runs and this evening I lined up with my younger brothers C5(hardtop/6 speed/corsa exhaust/K&Ndual conical intake). Man that was fun. He could pull away pretty hard after about 70mph. He is not afraid to run his car to the limit either. The first run we made I could hear his vette bouncing off the rev limiter(which loses a little power for him) It will be fun watching the gap close between my truck and his car as the miles/mods increase.

I took the salesman for a ride he would not soon forget when it was time for that "free" tank of gas. I brought my truck to the strip at 360 miles, changed the oil at 500 miles and to 0w30 mobile 1 at 1k. This 00 ran 13.80s stock in 85 humid degrees and 12.79 by the fall of 00 with no pullies. I change my tranny fluid more often than recommended and the sythetic oil every 3k or less. When my tranny was tore down for upgrades recently,it was found to be in new like condition. My motor is being tore down now for upgrades so i will get a good look at that nex't week. I f your going to race your truck, drive the he-double hockey sticks out of it from the time you leave the lot and change your fluids more often than recommended imho.
