Is This Allowed Or What!
I think the picture you posted looks pretty good, I still don't think we are all getting the idea. If you have to do something like boxes, or a shell, for work it is ok,I guess, but a camper to live in, cab over style, screen windows, and a retractable step coming out of the back, maybe a stove in back! I draw the line. My owners manual says 800 lbs including passengers, does a cabover camper weight more than that?
HOW CAN I RUN 12 SEC. 1/4 WITH A CAMPER ON THE *** END?

Your truck, your choice of what you do to it.
You are paying the tab.
Just like mods, your choice of tuners, vendors, devices,
contraptions, and etc.and etc.
You like white, I like silver.
You like Goodyear, I like Hoosier.
You like no toneau cover, I like toneau cover.
You spend $10,000.00 on mods, I spend $5,000.00 on mods.
It is a personal thing.
No flame intended.

The worst thing I have ever seen done to a Lightning was when me and a friend were Lightning shopping for him we ran across a red 01 lightning with like 100,000 miles on it hot shot stickers all over it the bed looked like it needed to be replaced all dented up and scratches all over the truck where they straped down the load from the sides of the truck. The interior looked like it had been lived in for 10 years stains all over it and tears and rips and *** stains all over the seats. Looks like somebody had fun time running hot shot through out the states, But messed up a fine truck along the way!!
Hey:
I kinda like that topper (other than the wing).
I am definitely putting a bug shield on the front of mine. In Illinois, I think you should be slapped for going without one.
I think this is one of the side effects of the Lightning only costing about 5K more than a 5.4, flare side, 2wd, std cab XLT.
I must say, if I had heavy work to do, the Lightning would not be the truck to do it with.
The good news is, the more people trash theirs, the more yours will be worth down the road. If everyone had kept their '57 Chevy immaculate, they wouldn't be worth 10-50 times original sticker price today.
Also, is there any chance these pickups you guys are seeing are XLTs with Lightning fascia? 14.7 sounds like a 5.4 F150 time, and if you were going to abuse the thing that way, why change out the stock wheels for XLT wheels....

Does anybody know where I can get one of those big beefy blindspotting roll bars for the front of the bed? I figure if I get one of those and a Breezer rear window, then drive my L into a couple of dumpsters, I'll have an Avalanche.
