Thumbs up Cherry Wet Wax

Just used Cherry Wet Wax for the first time the other day. Great stuff!!! There was a post the other day where there was a lot of talk about which was better: Zaino or Cherry Wet Wax. Well, I have never used the Zaino, but the Cherry stuff is great. Can't wait for summer!!!! Check out the top row of pics in my gallery. My favorite is the one with my Grand Prix GTP in the reflection!

I hope that I did all you other black L owners proud!

You order it from Coats. Their # is 714-870-8466. Their in Fullerton,Ca. Try the miracle mist, its a great waterless car wash solution, smells good to. I have"nt washed my truck since November ( but I dont drive in the rain ). Give em a call, they ship very quickly.

www.coatsproducts.com Ask for Rick-- if you call.

L is right about their Miracle Mist--lifts bugs, dirt, etc. right off the surface--between washes. Get their Miracle Fiber towels to use with the Mist. Also, their Hawaiian Shine Car Wash is the 'best' too. I get the liquid products by the gal.

When I do decide to wax my truck, can I just use this stuff and be done, or do I have to go through 2 or 3 (or more) other steps before waxing? (Other than washing the truck)

Yes you can wax with Cherry Wet after a wash. One step.

I actually used a clay bar treatment on mine before I started waxing, though, to get any impurities out of the paint from the factory, train trip, car carrier, dealer, etc.

Thumbs up

The shine is unbelievable, but your truck will smell like a cherry urinal mint for a week after waxing it!

I agree, the shine is GREAT! but the wax does not seem to last very long...but that will not matter when there is nicer weather and more chances to wax it

Thanks for the info.

Another Q I thought of. Does this stuff have any cleaners in it, or is it just straight wax?

To be honest I've been using this Mother's Reflections cleaner/polish, and it really seems to do a good job. If I compare before/after spots on the truck, it definitely brings out the 'Black' in my paint while removing light road debris (tar ect.) . Also it is real easy to use, 'dusts' very little, and leaves the finish super smooth.

I've used Zaino and Cherry wet. Cherry wet seems to apply easier and they both come off really easily. The cherry wet has a 'wetter' shine to it - both are really good though. They keep the truck clean longer and much easier to wash. For the price, cherry wet is hard to beat ($20/quart)

Cherry Wet Wax is the way I go. Used Zaino's and liked the results but was an all day process. Cherry Wet Wax goes on and comes off easily. Takes me an hour to do my truck and get a deep wet look which I thought looked as good if not better than Zaino's. Buy it by the gallon from Rick Coats....... less than $35 delivered to the East coast.

Buy the mircle mist as others have stated and cut down on the actual times you wash your truck after you get it polished with the Cherry Wet Wax.

LIGHTNINROD and myself use it so when we go to the drag strip we do not have to take a mirror to comb our hair and brush our teeth. We are able to see our astute aged Southern Gentlemanly faces in our Wet Cherry Wax Shine.
