New PIAA head and foglight bulbs

Today I bought the new PIAA headlight bulbs (part # 19617) and foglight bulbs (part # 15255). Total cost was $118 plus tax. I found the cheapest price I could online, figured in 2nd day air ($13), and then went to my local speed shop and had them price match. Bulbs will be in tomorrow which is a day earlier than if I ordered online. These are the new Xtreme white bulbs. I'll install tomorrow, and let anyone who is interested know my opinion on them. Btw, I have a 00 lightning. I think that the fogs on a 01 are H4 bulbs while the 99/00 are H3's, so the part # would be different. Its easy to check. Just pop your lens off and pull out light. It should be written on the back what bulb it takes. Here is their website if any one is interested....... http://www.piaa.com/news.html

I have installed them and they look great. The headlights are a little better but the fogs kill the originals. It is definitely worth the $118 in my opinion. I'll try to remember to get some pics tonight and post tomorrow. Now all I need is to find some clear lenses to put on those fogs.

Anyone Done HID Lights??

Has anyone done the HID light conversion? These look like the hot setup, but have a high admission cost. Check out the OSRAM Sylvania HID conversion kit for F-150's at:

Happy night driving.

Any concerns that the PIAA bulbs will make the fog lamp lenses crack easier? Just wondering if that has been or might be a problem. Also, would the 02 use the H4 bulbs? I am figuring I will order these soon if there is no worsened chance of cracking. Does the little SVT that is written on the headlight stay even when replacing the bulb?
