What do you guys think about these wheels

I was looking into some new wheels for drag racing this year and I asked my buddy at his local shop for some pricing on these wheels and I couldn't beleive how cheap he would let me have them for, so I'm thinking about these or the PSP 15" wheels right now.

Rear rims in 16x9.5" $225.00
front rims in 16x7" $170.00

I like them and there pretty light weight too!

Sal posted some pics of his concept wheels awhile back. I would tell you to do a search for them, BUT..........

sal's wheels look really sweet too!, but I'm just not big on spending 1400 to 1500 bucks for a set of rims from anybody!
Then add another 500 to 600 for tires and mounting and balancing and I got a $2000 set of drag racing rims that I'm going to use 4 to 5 times a year! I would rather spend it on a new motor or something cosmetic I think.

i can get these rims and a set of the new hoosier slicks and some front tires for about $1250 and they will also mount and balance them for me. Thats more like what I want to spend.

**** in the last 2 days I've spent 2600 with PSP, I'm going to drop another 1500 at my local shop today, and I have to buy a new monster tranny from Factory tech for 1500. thats just so I can race this year and get ready in time for WFC5. . Its getting to be an expensive habit! next year I'm going to go even farther with a new motor, roll cage, head work, blower work, and some more cosmetic stuff!

WILL IT EVER END! I hope not!

I BOUGHT THEM

So i was in the area of the speed shop today and I stopped in to get a firm price on all of it.

I got the 16x9.5 inch rim's, 16x7 inch rims, hoosier 28"x10"x16" slicks, Mickey thompson inner tubes, 225/60/16 kumho tires for the front, and moutned balanced and the tires will be screwed in the back for get this:

$1441.00 out the door tax and all! I heard that and said OK hook me up with them.

So in 3 weeks I should have my new racing tires and rims ready to rock and roll.

The only thing I'm worried about is the kumho tires, there only 26.6 inches and the hoosier's are 28". So I'm expecting the truck to have a rake towards the front, which I hope doesn't look to weird.

the rims are supposed to be about 32lbs for the 16x9.5" and the fronts about 28lbs. I hope so.
