Porsche Cayenne
The porsche cayenne has been announced. 5.6 sec 0-60 times, roughly comparable to the '99 L specs. But, it may be quicker on the top end than the L.

they have been talking about a 400+hp twin turbo version, in it's second or third year. the Germans seem to have it out for us

It may be competition but.....
It is an afront to all things good and just. Porsche should not be building SUVs. Neither should BMW. I realize that in today's market one has to do what one has to do but I don't have to like it.
I love Porsches but somehow I don't like the looks of thing. Maybe it will look better once in production.
