Do I need the Bars?
I've been told a couple times that Truck-Traks or some other kind of "slapper" bars will keep me from breaking a driveshaft...is that true??? Anybody else with experience of these traction devices???
Any 60' time reduction???

"Slapper bars" will work, as well as the Rancho type bars. If money isn't an issue, I would go with the bars that JDM sells. you should get something quick if you do a lot of drag racing. The aluminum drive shaft won't last long on a truck making any kind of power without something to keep the axle from wrapping up.

The only people that have been breaking driveshafts are the ones without traction bars. The aluminum shaft is best if protected from axle wrap.
The modified JDM Rancho bars eliminate axle wrap *completely*. They are tha ONLY ones to buy. After seeing them on mine I believe that they are the only ones that accomplish this. You'll see what I mean if you get them.
Once they're installed, you never have to adjust them. Rock Solid!
