Not really sure which one you are talking about, but I have the Trenz upper and lower and it was really easy to install, and no problems. Just a suggestion.

I emailed Street Scene awhile back about their grilles for our truck, and they told me that they will be out with a grille for the 2001-02 model this month. They currently only make a grille for the 1999-00 models, and if you buy that one it will not work. I found out the hard way and had to return it. If you can get ahold of a stock grille off a 99 or 00, then you can install it that way, but I would just hold off for the new model.

I put in the Trenz grill in my truck, and it wasnt very hard at all...i didnt need to shave the grill, only parts of the plastic..then you have to rivet the thing into place and its done! Well worth the time and effort...

motoxracer21: looks like Trenz finally got their act together..
i know of several other guys that had to shave the bottom grill down to install it.. maybe Trenz got some feedback from someone that had to do that.

motoxracer21,
I am real close to getting the Trenz grill. Does it have a vertical stripe down the center or did you add that yourself?
Duh...nevermind, I see now that it is just a reflection. Very shiny!!

Question LightnigRod

What are you gonna do with your existing grills? Assuming that you have an 01 I might like to take them off your hands.

When I wanted to put a billet grille on my 2001, I looked around and wasn't impressed with the fit that I was seeing on most of them, especially at the outer edges. So I installed a Harley Davidson grill. I love the way it looks, and of course it fits perfectly. I also like the fact that it has the blue oval.
