So I installed a Harley Davidson grill. I love the way it looks, and of course it fits perfectly. I also like the fact that it has the blue oval.
The blue oval was the easiest part of my billet grill install.
I thought the harley grill was made from plastic, therefore not really billet at all

LightnigRod: the upper grill should just snap out...

you see the little tabs? they hold the upper grill in.

well, at least thats how the grill was on my 2000.. i don't see why it should change for the 01-02 truck..

what would you like for me to do , with my 2001 grills ? the upper will have to be cut from the truck, the bottom will be unbolted.when i get them out i can let you know how reusable the top one would be? go to my signature and shoot me an e-mail=your address.
My e-mail address is kihmomail@yahoo.com I realize that you may have to destroy the upper grill but let me know how things turn out. Worst case I'd at least like to get the lower grill from you. Thanks.

I got the carriage works upper and lower grilles on my 02. I like the look of the oversized spacing between horizontal bars. The lower did not come out as well as I had hoped. The installer did a lot of cutting and the corners look bad. Overall I would recommend the upper grille but not the lower. I will post pics soon.
