i have only used a friends. we tested his volvo s60 t5. nice little car actually, but not the point. we got within 2 tenths of a second of what car and driver reported on both the 1/4 and 0-60 times. seemed pretty acurrate for what it is.

Accuracy isn't all that great from what I've seen personally, but the consistency is pretty good. To get as accurate as possible, I had my car (used it a long time ago in the Cobra, but haven't tried it in the Lightning yet...) weighed and tried to get as level as possible. I tried to get the Lightning weighed at the track one day and the guy was scratching his head... he said "My scale only goes up to 5000 lbs." and he couldn't believe that the Lightning weighed that much.

I ran it once at the track. My track time was 13.09@106.7mph and my g-tech time was 13.11@112mph. Times are accurate, not mph.

ET is fairly close normally, but trap speed is always a couple mph high.

Also, you can overwhelm the poor thing if you have too much power... heh, my '94 GT tends to make error messages... with high 9's apparently the G-tech can't keep up.

I use one for 0-60 tests. It is very consistant, and I think it is accurate for that test.
