Tazzo unit results.

Yesterday I got 5 runs in up at E-town and 4 of them I did comparisons with the Tazzo unit. The thing was decently accurate.
actual tazzo difference

60' 2.082 2.13 + .048
1/4 13.009 13.11 + .101
mph 107.09 106.4 - .69

60' 2.167 2.22 + .053
1/4 13.139 13.18 + .041
mph 107.53 105.8 - 1.73

60' 2.208 2.21 + .002
1/4 13.175 13.02 - .155
mph 107.12 109.3 + 2.18

(this one was doing the 1/8 mile test on the 1/4)
60' 2.253 2.30 + .047
1/8 8.661 8.77 + .109
mph 86.06 85.3 -.76
I haven't been able to use the function below yet and I am going to have to wait till next season to see how well it works, but this is also what the unit does:

It also has a feature that if you do some math and input numbers into the unit it will adjust itself according to the track. If you notice that it the unit is consistanly off by the same amount, you add some percentages and it will the unit will configure itself to that.

Calculation: (avg. track 60ft/et/mph)/(avg Tazzo 60ft/et/mph) = difference
You would enter 3 numbers into the unit, 1 for 60ft, 1 for ET (either 1/8 or 1/4 will work), and 1 for MPH.

i.e - say your timeslip is consistantly 1.95 for 60' and the tazzo is 2.00', the difference is +.05, or by the calculation above you would enter into the Tazzo would be .975. What this would do is next time you run, the Tazzo would adjust all calculations based on the numbers inputted, so if timeslip says 1.95 for 60', the Tazzo would display 1.95 also (2.00 * .975 = 1.95), and would adjust your et and mph by whatever value you calculated and input for those also.
Works same for 1/8, 1/8mph, 1/4, 1/4mph, 0-60 times also.

edit
forgot those that never heard of it:

It sounds as if it is slightly more accurate then the G-Tech meter I was using. Think I may have to try one out. Thanks for the info!

Hey Captain,
You got yourself a nice 12 second truck there. I ran only 13.0's with a 60 ft time over 2. Once i got under 2 sec, my times dropped accordingly. Your 107mph tells me so!! Way to go!

Yea, now if I could only drive the truck too 12sec I'd be happy. Thats my problem, I can't get my 60' times below 2.0 on street tires. Need more practice. I know I can do it.

Captain i never checked my tire pressure (duh) on my slow 60ft times. (they where at 34psi!!) Then I took off my front sway bar, and lowered the F1's to 28psi, went back to the track. Ran twice, both times under 2!
