Data so far...

See first post above...

I'll add each post to a database as it's received and will forward it to CaptainOblivious for his lowering page.

01 Lightning with-

FRPP kit and composite rear springs
Rear shackles are on the lowest hole so the L sits higher in the back.

Front--17.5"
Rear---18.0"

I'll measure my FRPP/Ground Force kit when I get home. It's should be interesting when compared to the other findings.

Ok...the results are in with my FRPP kit:

Front FRPP Coils: 16.00
Rear Shackles: 18.33

(This with the Hitch removed and the Spare in place)

I've gotta find a way to get AT LEAST another 1.5" drop in the rear. 2.33" doesn't seem like much....but man it looks like crap on my truck.

This probably isn't what you wanted. Mine is 26" from the hub center to the bottom of the now fender. I'm this will all change when I get it off the jack stands and put the fenders back on.

Something doesn't look correct. There is a 1 1/2" difference between JeffsLightning and Ebbsnflow's front FRPP coils on the front.

Front: drop / Rear: drop
Stock: 0 / Stock: 0
Stock: 0 / 2" Belltech shackles: -2
Stock: 0 / 2" Belltech shackles: -1
Stock: 0.25 / 2" Belltech shackles: -0.75 (see note 1)
Stock: -0.5 / 2" AIM Shackles: -1.5 (see note 2)
Ground Force 2" coils: -1 / DJM 2" shackles: -1
FRPP coils: -1.5 / Comp. springs & FRPP shackles: -2
FRPP coils: -3 / FRPP shackles: -1.67
Spike Hotchkis coils: -1.5 / Spike Hotchkis springs: -3
Ruslow coils: -1.5 / Ruslow Slider: -1.5

Notes
1. Both measurements where 1/4" above ave.
2. Coils and springs 23 months old. If fronts and rears didn't sag, then both measurements assumed 1/2" off to give 19 and 18.

My numbers are correct. 3" drop from the FRPP kit seems high to me on Ebbsnflows.... Mine is an 01. Bottom of the wheel lip to the center of the wheel cap is 17.5"

Spike -very interesting, both the poll and this

hotchkis coils / hotchkis leaf springs (stock 01' shocks)
roughly 6 months
1/2
17.75 / 18.25

You've had yours 2 months more then mine and your fronts are .25" lower and the rear is 1.25 lower??? Your's sagged an extra in. over the reported drop?
