Actual drop "poll" for reference
I know the question was for Mark, but I guess I'd throw in my $0.02.
I ordered the Eibach based on Mark's recommendation and the Eibach springs are great. Combined with '01 Bilstein, my truck rides better (smoother and more controlled over bumps) than stock. If the stock suspension doesn't bother you as a daily driver, you will like the Eibachs.

Struck By Lightning - if you could do you have any other info or comments on the Eibachs. I will be adding some more info to my faq page and would like as much info about the Eibachs.
Mark - do you still sell the Metco rear leafs? If so do you have any info on them, since search isn't up yet.

Just like Struck by Lightning on my 2001 with the Bilsteins still on (but no spare or hitch)...
Eibach coils/Belltech 2" shackles
1/2
17.0/18.75
1 week/1 week
I will remeasure after I put the HAL QA1's on the back to see if I can get the back down 1/2-3/4"

The actual drop for Eibach/Shackle drop is 2/2. I went back outside and measured it again. This time holding the measuring tape vertically instead of measuring the drop + how far the center of the wheel tucks into the fender. :o BTW, this is with a full tank of gas, hitch, spare, Line-X and an empty bed.

Spike Engineering,
I just measured my Lightning I have a 15 inch measurement on the front and the rear is 15 1/2 inches measurement on the rear.
I have Bell tech 3 inch front coils and Western Chassis 2 inch A-arms on the front.
The rear I have Bell Tech 4 inch kit shackles and hangers.
295-40-20 tires on 20 x 9 rims.
1 year and 9 months since I lowered my Lightning.

new stock 02 L. measured yesterday. 19 front/20.5 rear. been reading the posts to determine whether the drop should be 3/5 or 2/4 without having to do a c section. btw will doing a c section void the warranty?

Regarding the c-notch, my guess is that it'll void the warranty for the frame and corrosion protection.
I'd be interested in seeing a FEA or calculation of the composite section properties of the c-notch. Claims have been made that the c-notches done result in a stronger frame after they're done. Thus, the manufactures should have either calcs proving the composite section modulus and moment of inertia (for deflection) or at least output from a FEA.
Andy: Are you interested in doing this? I'll do it if you email the link and I'll model the area. It might be fun project to do some caffeine induced night.
Spike
