noel doesnt post on here any more..

i used fishing line when i pulled off my stock tailgate emblem. get a long piece & "saw" thru the adhesive, then use googone or alcohol to remove the leftover stuff.
i suggest a prybar and a hammer for you. LOL

did you finally "chrome" your emblems like i said you could so long ago?

are there holes behind the emblems?

i was thinking of removing the SVT f150 off the tailgate and replacing it with a smaller SVT like the ones
on the cobra's.

I thought they were fastened with more then just ashesive so when they come off there will be holes there. I could be wrong.

no chroming them but painting them!!

I was talking to someone who did his emblems and I loved the way they look on red so thats the ticket.

Basically the part that is black on the emblems now will be painted red to match the truck and the lightning emblem will be chrome.

I'm also shaving the tailgate with a tailgate handle relocater, I'm going to remove the ford sign and fill it in and also remove the SVT150 emblem also. I'm just plan on installing a 3rd lightning badge on the tailgate with the same paint job as the fenders.

I'm just trying to get this all done at the same time as the roll pan so its all smooth on the back now, should be sweet I hope.

this is a pic of the guys L, Its sweet huh!

SpeedinBob says if you are going to use a Milwaukee sawzall make sure you use a fine metal blade. It wont scratch the paint as bad. Bob
