SPeaker (not subs) question...whats good??

Hey i was wondering if you guys could fill me in on what companies make good quality speakers (at an affordable price) for our lightning?? Also which companies are known to have lower-end stuff???

also I was looking into buying the boston acustics rally series speakers...anyone know how good they are?

I run MB Quart PSC 216's, they're an excellent speaker... a/d/s also makes a great set...they run about $300-350.

If you're looking for good quality in the $150 range, look for Infinity Perfect or Kappa series...Kenwood also has an alright $100 speaker.

We put some Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.1 Components in the Thunderbird backed by an Alpine Amp, and loved the sound. So much so we put a set of the same components in the Lightning but no amp and still sounds great. I personally like these speakers so much, that I am going to pull the pioneer speakers I have in my truck, and replace them with a set of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Components.

The Infinity Kappa Perfect series is by far the best sounding speaker I have ever heard IMHO.

Infinity & Boston Acoustics are both good units.

You can't go wrong with either.

I've put them both in Mustangs, Thunderbirds, and now my L.

Man,

Infiniti, MBquarts, and Bostons are all awesome. I have infinit kappa 5.1's and love them. They NEED an amp.

try www.thezeb.com for the best prices I have ever seen...

I haven't gotten around to changing the speakers in the L yet. In the past I've used Pioneer, Kenwood, and Polk Audio speakers. The Polks were awesome. I can't fault them enough to try anything else. I've always loved the Cerwin Vega brand for my home stereos. How do they fare in automotive applications?
