I want to put a slim fiberglass tonneau cover on my L.
I have found the website for Snugtop bed covers but they don't list any prices or say anything about if they even make one for the 02 Lightning..... I want to buy one that comes painted already to match my Silver.
I have seen some ARE's on trucks (4x4's and such but no L's) and they are ok but look really thick or something.. I want something slim. Not sure if all the ARE's are thick, do they make a slim one?
Are there any other companies out there that I should look into?
Do all the hard tops seal watertight?

Does anyone have any good pictures?

I wish someone would post a bunch info and pics like the "Its a hood bonaza" thread.

I have already ordered a bedrug so now I need a good sealing top!

Last but not least what kind of prices am I looking at? I don't mind paying for Quality.

I just added both those to my L. The bedrug is sweet it was sitting on my porch 2 days after I ordered it. It looks and fits perfect. Installation was a snap.
The snuglid I have not got yet. It will take 3 weeks for them to make it (that is what I was told). It was like $699. Then I added a "no-drilling" mounting system, and got the underside sprayed to match my bedrug. Shipped to my door it ended up running me $950. Kinda pricey but it will look great.

thats not to bad of a price... i was thinking much higher (1250+) where i came up with that number i haven't a clue.. guess I dreamed it.

Anyway do you (or anyone) have any good pictures of one on a Lightning? a silver lightning picture would be awesome.

I have a snuglid on my truck that i got from a distributer just outside of St Louis. I love it because of the low profile, the sides go over the sides of the bed and as far as mine is concerned has never leaked. Mine has the carpeting on the underside option, and it looks sweet, definately a quality piece. For the lid, carpet option, and installation was $775 and well worth every penny.

is that a snuglid? it looks really good! do you have to get the center brake light or is that a option?

It looks like there is 2 bolt type latches on each side n the back... is that right? So it cant be locked or can it?

Silver_2000_! OMG thats it!! I LOVE THAT!!! that is exactly what i am looking for! I have got to have it now!!!
I did a search on thier (snugtop's) website for a dealer but couldn't find one with in 250 miles..... Guess i will just call the number on thier website tomorrow and go from there.

Do you have any pictures of your truck from the back? I didn't see any on your site.
