i picked up my L on 2/15/02. how soon can i have it dynoed and where. what $$$ should i expect to pay. thanks.

 

You can dyno whenever you want ,but I would wait about a 1000 or 2000 miles for break in.It cost about $75-$100 depending on who does it. If you can get in on a dyno day with a group it would probaly be cheaper.
Not familiar with area but give a speed shop in the area a call .They might help.
Tips on dynoing-Make sure you get SAE numbers and AIR/FUEL numbers.Also check pressure in rear tires and make sure the same (28 p.s.i).Have them make the pull in third gear O/D off.Also get the motor as cool as possible.Get there early if possible open hood and let sit.

In the Atlanta area, I think they charge $65.00 for 2 or 3(?) pulls. I drive down to Thomasville, Ga. and pay $75/2 pulls.

Do it while your L is stock--I wish that I had.

I'm going back to Panhandle Performance (its in Panama City, FL) on 3-28-02 if you want to come I can have your truck dynoed for $75 for 3 pulls or tuned on the dyno for about $600, maybe less if you come w/me!!!
