Pictures of some Lightnings on the track at VIR

A friend of mine visits Virginia International Raceway often to take pictures of the cars and bikes on the track. He sent me these two pictures of Lightnings he saw on the track that day.

I don't know who the drivers are but they might be somebody on this board.

I saw that Lightning parked in Newport News a couple of weeks ago.

Driver wasn't around, it had a Kentucky plate on it.
No other distingushing markings except the big 97's on the doors.
I thought he was a Kurt Busch fan...

(Only other clue is that he's a bookworm. Truck was at Barnes and Noble)

p.s. I figured it wasn't actually Kurt Busch because it was right before the Daytona 500 and old Kurt was down in Florida someplace.

That black one has a serious suspension drop! Very nice!

Keep in mind that these trucks were haulin' @ss when the pictures were taken. The black truck was in a curve. She's definitely settin' down on the outside tires. Look at the sidewalls.

My buddy has about a $2K digital camera will 610mm of OPTICAL zoom! His shots make you feel like you were standing next to the track when in reality he may have been 100yds away.
