Before buying my truck i wasn't very use to 350+HP. When i first bought the L, the power took some getting use to for me. Eventhough i have an 89 LX coupe with minor mods, no comparison to this truck. After having a tune up service through ford (first time for 45K miles), I installed the JDM 93 octane street aggressive chip and air raid system on my L and boy it woke it up!. I already got better throttle response with the service through ford and the air raid and chip even improved things. I took off from a light WOT late one night and afterwards my heart felt like it was gonna jump out my chest. My truck blasted down the road like never before. And you guys are putting 6lb pulleys on top of these chips???!!! I can't imagine how fast that would be. So now i'm kinda scared of it all over again..The more i drive it seems like the faster its getting! Just wanted to post a thumbs up to JDM for a job well done..Keep up the good work!...So now when i get use to this upgrade, i'm seeing maybe a 3lb pully in the near future

Good choice on the chip...Jim REALLY understands these trucks...and places a VERY high value on reliability. I was at JDM this weekend and had a Flip Chip(aggressive street and track), Cold Air Kit, and 4 # pulley installed. Man...my truck is a complete Beast... and I haven't even tried the race program!!! Don't you love cruisin ay 30- 40 mph....mashing the throttle and shifting into 1st??? You are pinned in your seat!! You will want a pulley soon!! Be safe!!

Hey guys? since i have the chip now..How does it feel when you start adding the pulleys?? is it like a whole different world?

 

Last Friday night my friends stock 01 Lightning ran 13.5 bone stock and a 12.9 w/ a JL Diablo Street chip on street tires w/ horrible track conditions.

 

for only 250 bucks I think you need to find out!

Its a whole new animal with a pulley! get atleast a 4lb lower though.

 

I dynoed on monday.I got the same stuff as you.The J69 program was worth 10 more hp and 5 ftlb of torque then the J49.Definately a more aggressive setup.
