The best waxing buffer.
I use a Makita it hasn't let me down yet, and it has variable speed settings which comes in handy.

You guys better know what your doing with a buffer or your truck may end up in the paint shop. If you have never used one may I suggest practicing on something old to get the feel of the buffer. These are not orbitals that anybody can use, and you can get into trouble fast. I use a Milwaukee #5540 with a Meguires pad and some Meguiars #9 to start with. Please be careful and Good Luck
Sorry it took so long to get back. It was a company out of Las Vegas; something like Las Vegas Tool Company. I did a search using Dogpile or MS and came up with it. I am leaving for Denver but will be back Friday. Perhaps I can find some more details.
KGM - You are right about knowing what your are doing. The porter random orbital is a little more forgiving than your typical paint shop buffer but you should always be careful with the compmound you chose and how you work around edges.
Once you get it down; no hand job can come close!
