I spend $100 on ceramic pads right now... The Brembo pads would last longer, so the cost difference isn't THAT great...

Yeah with the budget of one. My proirities are not straight enough for that one.

Dan - you don't have to worry about me going around the course faster then you

A few interesting notes. I had Brembo Cobra R brakes on my 2000 GT.

1) They cost about $900 (front kit only)

2) The bake pads are expensive. I dont road race, but I did enjoy getting on the brakes quite often. After a year, the pads still looked in very good condition.

Pete - lol, where are your priorties! You probably think that something like, your house, is more important! Sheesh! I imagine that my racing purse may shrink a little when I actually buy a hosue, but I'm not going to kid myself,

Gator - I've always loved racing, always wanted to do racing, and hopefully, I'll always be able to race! Maybe even professionally someday....right now, while I've got the money, I'm going to enjoy it!

TruBlu02 - I wish Brembo's for the Lightning were that cheap, but there 4 times as expensive.

I confess, my house is getting more money then my truck, so good pads will have to do for now. But most of the money going into the house is going into the garage where the L is

Honestly I wouldn't mind having the brembo's in the front. I would like to know how long those pads would in normal driver as opposed to Spike driving.

Ruslow takes the prize on this one. He doesn't go through pads quickly, but rather a couple sets of calipers per year.

If those are Dreamin's you bought, you can thank me for having them. I passed on the opportunity.
