Ashenor,
I have tried the Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus tires in the 295/40/20 series and thought they were a real good tire for the money.

I run Pirelli PZero System Asyemtrico tires in 285/45R18, and they work very well for me.

Are the Scorpions a max performance tire? (I thought they were a perfomrance "truck" tire). The PZero System tires are Y-rated (180+)....

Oh, also, from what I understand you can't run the goodyear EMT tires, that is the run-flat version...We don't have a runflat system.

scorpion zero's

i just put on pirelli scorpion zero's 305/45 R 20 on my '01 L. I have had trouble getting traction. My L starts to drift sideways when I launch. I am not too happy but maybe they will get better

There is no tire that will give you stomp it to the floor launching capability for our truck, too much power. You want that, you need to strap on some slicks...can't do slicks, try 555R's...

For good road handling, the Pirelli's, or some Potenzas...The Supercar tires arn't bad either.

OH MY GOD!!!

My dunlops cost that much!!!
I bought the wheels and tires as a set. The dunlops ride nice.Only got caught in the rain once with them but they did a good job.Ride is stiffer but that is expected going from 18 to 20 inch. They do have a cool looking pattern. I guess no more burnout contests for me.Yeah right.
