How much?

Hey, I'm currently in the market for a new toy. I'm really kind of interested in and LS1 SS camaro ora WS6 TA, but I would really prefer to have the versatility of a truck. Could some of you L owners give me some reasons why the lightnings are so great, better than a dakota R/T lets say. I would also like to know of any common probs these truck develope and what are the key things I should look out for when buying one used. Also, what should I consider to be a good price for a '99? Thanks, I know this stuff has probably been asked tons of times so if there is a FAQ page or something feel freeto call me a dumbass and send me there. thanks

Joe

A Lightning is a truck. For less than a grand you can have a mid 12 second truck. You can haul stuff. Most people wolnt expect a truck to be faster than their trans am, camero, or mustang, which more than half the time it will be. They look great. They also handle well. The main tuners are on this borad so its easy to get help. The blower whine! Its a ford. i have more but dont want to type

R/Ts are slow and imo fugly

good price for a 99 is ne where from 22k-28k depending on mileage, condition, mods, etc...

Lightning FAQ

get a lightning, you will be happy. trust me
