Nx > Nos?
Nx > Nos?
Ok, just out of curiousity, I am thinking of going w/ a 50-75 shot of nitrous instead of pullies b/c of engine longevity concerns, and i notice NONE of the tuners use NOS, they all use NX....why? Better quality? or is it that they make a kit for the L? Just curious. Also, what do i need besides the kit to upgrade to a shot that size? New Plugs? What else? Thanks guys

The NX kit is a wet kit so it injects nitrous and fuel were the NOS dry kits only inject nitrous. The NK kit is safer and also makes more power than the NOS kit. I would go with a NX but since you only plan to run a 50-75hp shot you could go with a dry system but if you plan to run any larger of a shot I would go with the NX kit. The NX kit with a 50hp shot on a L will make 66 rwhp and should give you a 4-6 tenths reduction on your ET's.
The reality is that the L kit is the same as the EFI Mustang kits. When I bought my NX kit they were out of stock on the L stuff. The Mustang Kit bolted right up. I think maybe the only diffrence between the two kits is the L kit may come with a longer fuel line (fuel rail to selenoid) and the instructions contain jet calibration charts for the L not the Mustang. As far as I can tell with my the jet calibrations from the mustang work just fine.
I'm looking at buying an NX system too. However I have 2 questions. 1 in their catalog (NX) there are prices for racer and jobber. Now i think it's obvious what each means; however, what's the difference in parts. The difference for the Ford f150 package is $120.... QUestion 2.... WTF did you guys put your bottle?

The shot right out of the box
I installed the same kit for the 5.0 Mustang I think it comes with a 75 shot out of the box
42jet size nos side
67 bypass side
Like I said above So-Cal calls for the reverse for 150 shot
67 nos side and 42 bypass side with a shim
