How'bout a Gen 3 using GT40

Why are we talking about the Gen 3 Lightning? The 2nd Gen Lightning is still in production. And Ford/SVT is slated to produce it through 2003. It will more than likely be four or five years after the Gen 2 befor SVT announces a Gen3, if there is to be a Gen 3. If anything we should talking about the 2003 Lightning...

If Dodge & Chevy come out with their trucks, don't think ford could wait as long as you say before a Gen. 3. Would you like to be the guy that buys an 03 and Ford comes out in 04 with Gt40 gear in L? I wouldn't want to be that guy!
