I installed a Phoenix Gold ZX500 under my passenger seat. I removed the seat and figured out where I could and could not mount the amp by laying the amp in place and setting the seat over it. It took some time and effort, but I was satisfied with the install. Good luck.

BTW, I installed my other two amps on an amp rack between my 10's.

The installer (with my say-so) pulled the jack and wrench assembly and mounted one of the amps there. I'll either put the jack into the bed or mount it behind the seat somehow - the whole black plastic storage bin is gone as it is...

i hope you guys are running your air conditioners, be careful when they get hot if you dont have much breathing room for them, thats why most people use an amp rack, its very important to allow your amp enough room to breath

My amp's under the seat - and I just traded it back to the store for a new one after about 4 month's use. It burned out, probably from getting too hot - the chrome nameplate on top of the amp had some discoloration...
